As 2017 draws near to its conclusion I am reminded of all the wonderful things that I have experienced this year. The year’s end is a time for gratitude, for appreciating the lessons learned, the heartaches lived through, the happy and sad tears.

Those of you who know Carter & Carter music will no doubt know some of these words below, and I wanted to add to them for this last blog of the year. This is me counting my blessings for 2017 and my blessing to all of us as we look forward to 2018.

May your dreams be bigger than your fears
May your laughter flow freer than your tears
May the joy you bring last longer than your years
Let your faith be stronger than your doubt
Let your actions speak louder than your shouts
May your heart find peace within the storm

May you have the eyes to see
The wisdom to recognise
And the courage to follow
Your path of peace

May the memories of lost loved ones
Bring you strength and comfort
May the challenges of relationships
Teach you more about yourself
And may you take the time to see the gift
That is life

I am taking a break now to rest and recoup, spend time with my family and follow my peace path. I will be back in 2018 with more blogs and podcasts and I wish you and your family love, joy and peace.
